Glass Alliance new mexico

Due to the pandemic GANM has suspended all in person events. There are many wonderful online happenings, for your convenience we have listed them here on our calendar.

A number of galleries are doing regular Zoom live tours of artist studios and showing artist's works through online video presentations. Most require an RSVP to get the Zoom link.

Lucy Lyon : A studio Tour

GANM board member Lucy Lyon creates intimate, highly expressive glass sculptures that show with both nuance and impact the interactions between two or more people, in a variety of settings. You can see what the figures are feeling; you can easily imagine what they are saying.

Artists Sunday is a new, free, nationwide marketing program encouraging consumers to shop with artists and craftsmen. The new campaign is designed to make the Sunday after Thanksgiving the arts’ most profitable day of the year this holiday season. They are partnering with cities, agencies, states, counties and non-profits across the country to help artists.

Corning Museum of Glass has started a “Watch the Artist” series to keep interactions between those interested in the glass arts and artists moving ahead during this difficult time. Canadian Guilde of Crafts
