- "I began by recreating every day
oblects, used by Pueblo people for centuries, in glass. I found,
in these water jugs, water canteens and basket forms, a presentation
of light not offered by any other medium. It is my belief that,
that which is given by the infinite is light and that which recieves
it is the vessel. The interaction between light and vessel are
symbolic of every realationship. New Mexico is known for its
spectacular light, for which I have a profound respect. I became
enthralled by the possibity of reflecting light's nature in glass
medium.”
