Lyon works in figurative cast glass. Her work was first shown
nationally at SOFA Chicago in 1998. She has focused on people
in public urban settings, the figure, and subtle gesture. Most
recently her dominant theme is the figure reduced to its most
elemental parts. Her work has been shown in galleries in New
York, Santa Fe, Chicago and Cleveland. It has been included in
museum shows in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Redding, CA and Palm Desert.
For the past 22 years she has lived and worked in Jaconita, New
Mexico.
